How Zuzu's Zone began
When Tiarah's daughter — known to the world as Zuzu — was diagnosed with cancer, the family found themselves in the most terrifying and isolating experience imaginable. The doctors focused on Zuzu, as they should. But Tiarah was unprepared for the reality of living in that hospital — without the everyday essentials, without a guide, without someone thinking of her.
After Zuzu battled and beat cancer, Tiarah made a promise: no parent would walk into that hospital the way she did. Zuzu's Zone was born from that promise — a tribute to Zuzu's incredible fight and a lifeline for every family that comes after.
Founded in 2024, Zuzu's Zone has already been showing up at community events, building partnerships, and delivering bags directly to families in need. The name belongs to Zuzu. The mission belongs to every parent who has ever sat in that waiting room.

"I founded Zuzu's Zone after my daughter, known to the world as Zuzu, battled and beat cancer. We wanted to make a difference for the parents of kids who were just diagnosed with cancer."
In her daily life, Tiarah is a full-time community college student, a licensed in-home CNA with QMAP certification, and is actively building her own hospice care business — all while raising Zuzu and running this organization with her whole heart.
